They'd never know how fake her smile is.
They'd never know how broken she truly is.
They'd never know how much she cries.
They'd never know she lies,
(every time she says "I'm fine.")

They have no idea that underneath her sleeves are scars.
They have no idea she feels like she is behind bars.
They have no idea she wishes her death.
They have no idea of how much she regrets every breath.

They can't guess why she hates herself
(Something she barely understands.)
They can't guess that she hides behind her laughter
They can't guess the times she's "felt better"
(only to realize it was merely the placebo of a good day)
They can't guess at how low she is.
(Because when you fall down so much, then you wonder why you would climb up in the first place)
